Claire Parkin

Claire was born and brought up in a village just outside Cardiff, and graduated from King’s College London with an MA in 19th English and American Literature.

 

She worked as a features writer and sub-editor on women’s magazines for many years, before turning to fiction-writing after the birth of her twin son and daughter.

 

Her short stories have been published in literary magazines, and she has been shortlisted three times for the Bridport Prize. Claire lives in London with her husband and children.
